Prerna sthal in memory of Sudiksha Bhati, Rs 20 lakh compensation for family

Lucknow, Sep 13 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a Prerna sthal in memory of late Sudiksha Bhati and granted Rs 20 lakh compensation for the family.

The CM also said that a library on the name of the talented student studying in USA, who died in a road mishap in Bulandshahr, would also be set up along with the Prerna Sthal.

The announcements were made by the CM here on Sunday after meeting the family members of Sudiksha. The meeting was attending by Rajya Sabha member Surendra Nagar and MLA of Dadri Tejpal Nagar.

Mr Adityanath assured the family of all assistance and expressed his condolence over the death of such a talented student.

"Death of Sudiksha is a loss of the country," CM said.
He said that the Prerna sthal and library would give the students an inspiration in their future .
Of the total Rs 20 lakh, compensation to be given to the family, the state government will give Rs 15 lakh and rest Rs 5 lakhs by MP Surendra Nagar.

The parents of Sudiksha informed the CM that their daughter was very talented and even as they have just a one room house, she used to study and managed to get successful to get admission in USA university.

The parents expressed their satisfaction with their talks with CM and the assurance given by the government.

Sudiksha Bhati, who hailed from Deri Scanar village in Gautam Buddh Nagar's Dadri, died on August 10 in a road accident in Bulandshahr district while she was pillion riding a motorcycle with her younger cousin, a minor.

It was said that the girl was reportedly teased by some youths in a motorcycle which led to the accident and 2 people -- Deepak Choudhary and Raju -- were arrested on the basis of CCTV footage.

Sudiksha, an academically bright student, was pursuing a graduation course in entrepreneurship at Babson College, Massachusetts (US), on a scholarship and was scheduled to go back on August 20.
