PM in 'Mann ki Baat' hail Kaushambi jail inmates for social work; Yogi lauds Modi

His efforts to initiate various activities besides providing them the basic logistics required to lend jails a humane look from outside as well as inside. No wonder, such efforts have invited praise from none other than the Prime Minister himself and a mention in his popular programme 'Mann ki Baat' on Sunday. PM Modi, during his broadcast, mentioned the stitching of 'cow coats' from old blankets by inmates of the jail in Kaushambi district.
CM Yogi has thanked the PM for recognising such work and said listening to PM in "Mann Ki Baat' gives immense pleasure.
The Prime Minister had said the jail inmates are doing a great job by collecting old blankets from Kaushambi and other jails of the state and stitch 'cotas' for the cows to save them from cold. " Such endeavours strengthen the human sensitivity in the society and inspire others to do social works.
