'Jungle raj,' even police is not safe in UP: Priyanka

Lucknow, Jul 4 (UNI) Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday hits out at Yogi Adityanath led-Uttar Pradesh government, alleging due to the nexus of criminals, ruling leaders and officials, the law and order in Uttar Pradesh is in shambles.
Ms Vadra was talking to the senior state Congress leaders through video conferencing and also discussed the party's strategy.
Mentioning the Kanpur incident, she claimed that protection from those in power had increased the morale of the criminals because of which they were able to carry out such an audacious act.
She said that it wouldn't be an exaggeration to state that 'Jungleraj' was prevailing in UP. Forget about the common man, not even the police is safe here, Ms Vadra averred.

Bhopal, Aug 9 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Kamal Patel on Sunday handed over a letter regarding in-principle approval of Rs 100 crore to State Cooperative Bank Limited Managing Director Pradeep Neekhra at the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development’s Regional Office on behalf of NABARD.
“With this amount, 351 primary agricultural cooperative societies will be converted into multipurpose bodies. Cultivators shall be able to receive vital inputs regarding storage, grading, sorting, etc. Apart from this, people will also obtain the facility of e-mandis. The said sum is being provided under the Agri Infrastructure Fund,” the senior politician was officially quoted as saying.
