Lucknow, Jul 28 (UNI) Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday indirectly took on Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati.
In a tweet, Ms Vadra said, "The undeclared spokespersons of the BJP have issued a whip of help to the BJP. But this is not just a whip, rather a clean chit to those who murder democracy and the Constitution."
Earlier, BSP General Secretary Satish Mishra had issued a whip to all its six MLAs in Rajasthan to vote against the Congress in case of a trust motion in the Assembly. The whip has clear orders that if any MLA disobeys the party whip, they could be disqualified from the Assembly.
Apart from its six MLAs, the party had also sent a letter to Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra and Assembly Speaker CP Joshi that according to the 10th list, no national party can be merged at the state level as all the MLAs had won the Assembly polls on party's (BSP) election symbol.
