Priyanka strongly opposes Yogi govt's proposal of contractual jobs instead of permanent

Lucknow, Sep 13 (UNI) Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday slammed the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh for mulling on a new formula to give jobs in government offices on contractual basis.
In a tweet on Sunday, Ms Vadra said, "Youths are demanding jobs and UP government brings a proposal for contractual jobs for 5 years . It is only an effort to rub salt on the wounds of the youths and challenging them."
She further said in Gujarat too there is a fixed pay system and no hike in wages in the past several years and the youths are being denied permanent jobs .

Bhopal, Oct 20 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan averred on Tuesday that 25 per cent of the third instalment – of the pending amount vis-à-vis the Seventh Pay Commission – would be disbursed to state government employees before the Festival of Lights, official sources said.
“The remainder will also be paid in this financial year. Besides, an advance of Rs 10,000 shall be provided to those whose monthly salaries are lower than Rs 40,000. The functionaries accomplished unprecedented work during the COVID-19 crisis and assisted my dispensation in combatting the pandemic,” the senior politician underlined.
