She not only used the weapons always adopted by the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in all the recent parliamentary and assembly elections but also tried her best to send a clear message to the voters while virtually kicking off the party's election campaign in this belt of Purvanchal (eastern UP).
Not only this, she not only offered Rudrabhishek at Kashi Vishwanath temple and prayers at Annapurna Mata Mandir but also visited the famous Durga temple, seeking the blessings of Maa Kushmanda Devi on the fourth day of ongoing Shardiya Navratra when the temple witnessed heavy rush of devotees.
Besides, even during her Kisan Nyay Rally, apart from raising political issues including Lakhimpur Kheri incident, she referred the matter of government claims regarding making the river Ganga clean apart from starting her address with the Devi Stuti and concluding with ‘Jai Mata Di’, informing that she was on nine-day ‘vrat’(fast) during Navratra which is an answer to Modi’s pro-Hindutva image as the latter always follows ‘vrat’ during both Vasantik and Shardiya Navratris.
