Lucknow, Aug 31 (UNI) Expressing concern on the Chinese Army's attempt to change the 'status quo' in Eastern Ladakh, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Monday said that in view of the actions of the neighbouring country, the Centre needs to be more vigilant.
In a tweet, Ms Mayawati said, "The Chinese Army's actions in the Eastern Ladakh area yet again is shocking, but it is a matter of satisfaction that the Indian Army has given a befitting reply. The government needs to be more alert and be more cautious further."
Notably, the Centre, in a statement, has said that Chinese troops carried out "provocative military movements to change the status quo" near Pangong Tso but they were blocked by the Indian soldiers.
