Lucknow, Nov 10 (UNI) Once again failing to open their account in the present bypolls in seven assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, a large section of the Congress leaders and workers have started raising their voice for ouster of state president Ajay Kumar Lallu, blaming him for the poor show.
As per the reports, the party candidates lost its deposit in Deoria, Bulandshahr, Malhani, and Naugawan Sadat but in Bangarmau (Unnao) and Ghatampur (Kanpur), the Party put up some impressive show by remaining runners-up though losing both the seats by a huge margin to Bharatiya Janta Party.
In Deoria, Congress candidate Mukund Bhaskar got just 2.17 percent votes which is less than even an independent Ajay Pratap Singh who scored 11.35 percent votes. Similarly in Malhani, Congress candidate Rakesh Mishra received 1.39 percent votes while in Naugawan Sadat, Kamlesh Singh had to satisfy with 2.18 percent. In Bulandshahr, Susheel Chowdhary got 5.1 percent.
