Lucknow, Sep 10 (UNI) Congress party on Friday decided to carry out 'Pratigya Yatra' with the tagline-- 'Hum Vachan Nibhayenge'-- across Uttar Pradesh.
The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by the party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who is in the state capital on a two-day visit.
Congress leaders here said this yatra will cover around 12,000 km.
The route of the yatra is being finalised in the ongoing meeting being chaired by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra at the state party office.
Sources say the 'Yatra' will be focusing intensely on the potential seats.
Meanwhile, with a tag line--No government without us-- Congress works out the political line in Battle ground Uttar Pradesh, as Priyanka Gandhi gears to jump in for the intense electoral campaign.
After a long wait and extended suspense over its electoral strategy, the Congress is now ready with a clear message of being a direct stakeholder in the formation of a non-BJP government in the state.
A political line of “No government without us”, is the narrative through which the grand old party aims to take a plunge in the electoral battle. A strategically planned narrative that is certain to boost the morale of the party cadres and pitch the party as a serious player in UP’s electoral battle.
Priyanka has held the first round of meeting with senior leaders here. The leaders of political and advisors were told to chalk out a strategy for zonal-wise meetings.
The state will go to polls early next year.
