Social distancing should be ensured in view of festivals: UP CM

Lucknow, Oct 24 (UNI) Giving instructions to ensure full compliance of the protocol and social distancing related to Covid-19 in view of the festive season, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that the infection of corona is steadily decreasing but in spite of that, vigilance and caution is required at every level.
Mr Adityanath here said that during the festivals to be held in the coming days, the protocols related to COVID-19 and social distancing should be fully ensured.
He said that special precautions should be taken to prevent novel coronavirus infection in cultural and public events. COVID-19 protocols, social distancing, mandatory use of masks etc, should be strictly followed. It should also be ensured that such events do not allow more people than the permissible limit.
