Bharat Bandh evoked no response in UP

Lucknow, Sep 27 (UNI) The dawn to dusk 10-hour long nationwide 'Bharat Bandh' called by farmers' front- Samyukt Kisan Morcha- to mark the completion of one year of their protest against the Central government's agriculture laws on Monday- passed off peacefully with no major untoward incident being reported from any part of the State.

Barring districts along the Uttar Pradesh-Delhi border, the impact of the Bandh call saw little impact in central and eastern districts.

MSDE launches pilot projects to revive, promote Kashmir's traditional Namda Craft

Srinagar, Nov 27 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, Electronics and Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, on Saturday launched two ambitious projects; ‘Revival of Namda craft of Kashmir as a special pilot project under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 3.0’ and ‘Upskilling of artisans and weavers of Kashmir under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), component of PMKVY.'
While launching the initiative, Chandrasekhar said India has a rich heritage and is home to several traditional art forms.
