Lucknow, Oct 24 (UNI) Accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of providing protection to the criminals, Samajwadi Party (SP) Akhilesh Yadav said that under the BJP's rule, there is terror of goons protected by those in power everywhere in Uttar Pradesh.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, Mr Yadav said that the criminals are not even shying away from raising their hands on the police now. The state is dominated by incidents of murders, loots, kidnappings and rapes.
He said that life has become difficult due to excessive inflation, stunted development and poor condition of the farmers. There is no remorse on fake encounters and playing with the lives of innocents. Every family is shaken with frequent incidents of rapes with small girls.
