BJP leader Sanjay Jain in SOG custody

Jaipur, Jul 17 (UNI) The Special Protection Group (SOG) of Rajasthan Police on Friday arrested BJP leader Sanjay Jain in connection with an purported audio revealing a conversation between rebel Congress MLA Bhanwar Lal Sharma and Mr Jain to topple the Ashok Gehlot-led government in the state.
The SOG has commenced investigations regarding this case. Sources confirmed that the Congress state's chief whip Mahesh Joshi made a complaint regarding this matter after which SOG took this action.
This morning, the Congress issued the purported audio tape conversation in which the two can be heard "planning to topple the Rajasthan state government". However, Mr Sharma claimed that the voice in the purported audio conversation was not his.
