Jaipur, Nov 20 (UNI) All Ministers in the Ashok Gehlot government submitted their resignations on Saturday, leading to the acceleration of process of Cabinet reorganisation.
In the Cabinet meeting held at the Chief Minister's residence on Saturday, State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra floated the proposal, after which all Ministers handed over their resignations to the Chief Minister. Congress national in-charge General Secretary Ajay Maken was present in this meeting.
According to Transport Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, all Congress workers have been called to the state Congress headquarters at 1400 hrs on Sunday, where the new Ministers will be announced. The oath-taking ceremony will take place at 1600 hrs at the Raj Bhavan, in which the new Ministers to be included in the Chief Minister's Cabinet will be administered the oath, he added.
The Minister said the resignations have been taken through a continuous process, so that the Chief Minister can reconstitute the Cabinet. There were still apprehensions as to when the Chief Minister will go to the Raj Bhavan to meet the Governor, he added.
