Surjewala rubbishes PM's claim of having completed 100 crore vaccinations

Jodhpur, Oct 22 (UNI) Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala on Friday rubbished Prime Minister Narendra Modi's claim of having completed 100 crore vaccinations in the country and said that only 29 crore people have been given both doses of the corona vaccine.

Mr Surejwala, who came to Jodhpur to mourn the death of former minister Mahipal Maderna, on Friday said that 103 crore people in the country are above 18 years of age, out of which only 29 crore have been given both doses of corona vaccine. 42 crore people have received only one dose and 32 crore people have not been given a single dose. He said that now schools and colleges have opened. Because of this, children are most at risk. The scientists of the country have developed two types of vaccines for children, but the center is not yet approving them.
