Regressive policies of Modi govt causing economic degrowth

Phagwara, Aug 27 (UNI) Chairman of Punjab Agro Industries Corporation and former Punjab Minister Joginder Singh Mann Thursday slammed the Narendra Modi led NDA government for ruining the economy of the country with its regressive policies.
In a statement issued here Thursday , the Chairman said during the Covid 19 pandemic, the Modi government has failed to secure the interests of small and medium scale industry. He said due to regressive policies of the Union government thousands of people have lost their jobs in recent times. Mann said this would have adverse effect on the economy of the country and nation would face serious repercussions.
The Chairman bemoaned that even the RBI has cautioned the government that economic problems of the countrymen was likely to enhance in wake of the constant decline in demand of goods and services. He said due to Covid 19 pandemic the trade and small industries were passing through turbulent times but the Modi government has done nothing to safeguard their interests. Mann said services and domestic production was likely to dip further and in wake of this recovery of loan was also high time low.The Chairman said in last 4.5 years more than 1.5 crore people have been rendered jobless.
