Chandigarh, Sep 3 (UNI) Taking stern notice of the list sought by the Punjab Government from various departments to implement the recommendations of the Montek Singh Ahluwalia Committee, senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Harpal Singh Cheema on Thursday accused Chief Minister for adopting double standards and deceiving Punjabis for yet another time.
In a statement here, Cheema said, "Raja Amarinder Singh is playing a double game with Punjab and the people of Punjab. On the one hand, they reject the anti-agriculture ordinances of the Center in the Assembly, on the other hand, they have started the process of implementing the anti-Punjab, anti-people, anti-employee and anti-farmer recommendations of the Ahluwalia Committee clandestinely."
Describing Montek Singh Ahluwalia as an 'agent' of the Modi government and world class corporates, the LoP alleged that Montek Singh Ahluwalia's model only serves the interests of private companies while acting lethal for general public especially farmers and the public sector (government agencies and employees).
