AAP slams Capt govt over promises in election manifesto

Chandigarh, July 30 (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab on Thursday slammed the Capt Amarinder-led Pujab Government over the promises in election manifesto, terming it was a 'pack of lies.'
In a joint statement, senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Sunam MLA Aman Arora, Bijli Morcha Incharge and MLA Meet Hyer and State President of Industry and Trade Wing Mrs. Nina Mittal alleged that more than 20 thousand industries had shifted base from Punjab to other states due to hefty power rates in the state, when compared to the other states of the country.
Aman Arora said that this was not the end of the ordeal for the industrialists across the state. The Captain government gave another jolt to the fraternity by passing out another dictatorial order, saying that industries working between 6 pm and 10 pm would have to pay an additional Rs 2 per unit as peak load charge, which would burn a big hole in their pockets, saying that if the new order was implemented each unit would have to pay between Rs 11.50 and Rs 12 per unit.
