Contentious Farm laws: AAP to stage ‘dharna’ at Delhi on Oct 12 in support of farmers

Hoshiarpur, Oct 10 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party Punjab President and Member of Parliament (MP) Bhagwant Mann on Saturday said if the country’s ‘annadata’ was not protected against the controversial black laws at this point in time, it would prove to be a death knell for a large number of ‘arhtiyas’, transporters, small shopkeepers, mandi labourers, and all other sections dependent on agriculture.
He called upon one and all to rise above the political and other considerations and raise a pitch against the implementation of the laws, saying that the move would impinge upon the rights of the states giving a free hand to the corporate honchos to have their way to ‘loot’ the poor farmers.
