Punjab govt should emulate Delhi in dealing with Corona : Cheema

Chandigarh, Aug 19 (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) amid the rising incidents of Covid-19 in the state touching a new high, said on here Wednesday that the government in Punjab should ramp up medical facilities at various government hospitals and Covid care Centre, by accelerating the pace of oximeters distribution, to takes the alarming situation hands down.
In a joint statement issued here on Wednesday, senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Leader of Opposition, said the Amarinder Singh-government in the state should speed up pace to provide, among other essentials, oximeters in the areas affected by the Covid pandemic to defeat it in a decisive way.
Cheema said the AAP government in Delhi had been actively engaged among others in distributing oximeters in the covid-prone areas to pre-empt chances of the spread of the pandemic. The chief minister Arvind Kejriwal had decided to celebrate his birthday in a unique way by distributing oximeters in the capital city.
