Priyanka to shift to Lucknow, take over party reigns

Lucknow, Jan 21 (UNI) With dreams of party leaders that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will shift to Lucknow and take command of the revival of the Party here in Uttar Pradesh failed to materialise, the senior leaders now planned that they could at least use her charismatic personality to make presence of Party in every household by distributing calendars having her photographs.

Sources said here on Thursday that senior officer bearers here in UP had planned that Priyanka would come during the ongoing night stay programmes in Gram Panchayats, to strengthen the Party base and boost the morale of the workers to gear up for the proposed Assembly elections scheduled in the beginning of next year.
