Bhopal, Nov 30 (UNI) The Narendra Modi regime drew heavy flak on Saturday from the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) that rained fire on the Centre by accusing it of destroying the economy through ill-conceived policies.

“Industrious nationals are experiencing dejection and it has had a deleterious effect on states such as this one. Erstwhile premier Manmohan Singh’s prediction of a post-demonetisation downturn materialised and commoners are struggling for survival. The Modi dispensation is doing untold harm to the nation by disturbing its enterprising citizenry in the name of pseudo nationalism. In fact, the saffron camp is misleading the country. Consumer spending witnessed decline; as a direct consequence traders and companies are in quandaries. The Gross Domestic Product growth rate must exceed 12 per cent for India to become a five-trillion-dollar economy. This will hardly be possible due to the Modi team’s negligent attitude,” MPCC Media Department Vice President Bhupendra Gupta averred in a release.
