Modi's tenure golden era of independent India: Puri

Lucknow, May 29 (UNI) Appreciating the working style of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri on Monday said so many works have been done in the last nine years of the PM's tenure, which were never done till 2014 since independence.
Describing the achievements made during the nine-year tenure of the Modi government, Puri said that the work done in the last nine years has not been done since 1947. "In 2019 we faced the corona pandemic. Earlier the condition of our health sector was not good. Leave PPE kit, the work of manufacturing vaccines was stopped. We strengthened vaccine manufacturing and health sector," he said.
He said that unprecedented work has been done in the health sector during the nine years. "During pandemic 240 crore vaccines were manufactured and administered. "Not only this vaccines were sent to 130 countries," he said.
