Lucknow, Oct 11 (UNI) As another landmark development in the governance of Uttar Pradesh, about 40,000 villagers of 346 villages of 37 districts of the eastern parts of the state were distributed their property cards in a programme that was presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a virtual programme on Sunday.
A scheme of the Panchayati Raj Department, Government of India, the scheme was inaugurated by prime minister on April 24 2020. Ever since, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken it in a mission mode.
CM Yogi Adityanath and Union Panchayati Raj Minister Narendra Singh Tomar were present in the function.
