Don’t ruin careers of over 20,000 medical assistants, bring them under CPA: Altaf Bukhari

Srinagar, Jul 17 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Friday urged the union government to safeguard the careers of over 20,000 medical assistants of J&K by bringing them within the ambit of Central Pharmacy Act (CPA).

In a statement issued here, Mr Bukhari said that the medical assistants of Jammu and Kashmir also fulfill the eligibility criteria for availing a pharmacy license or applying for any government job exclusively meant for diploma or degree holders in pharmacy.

Lucknow, Apr 20 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government is set to hold 'Road Safety Fortnight' in the state UP between April 22 to May 4 as in line with the directives of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Transport Department will organise the campaign as part of its efforts to reduce road accidents by 50 percent.
