Himachal's development knows no bounds

Shimla, Jan 23 (UNI) As the picturesque hill state is set to complete 50 years of its formation on January 25, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Saturday credited every government that has ruled in the past five decades for their contribution in developing the state by leaps and bounds.
"Despite state was ruled by various governments led by Congress and BJP, but after getting state hood on Jan 25, 1971, the state has taken long stride in the pace of development", the Chief Minister said while briefing the mediapersons about Golden Jubilee Celebrations being organised at the famous Ridge Maidan here.
Mr Thakur said that the credit for the long epoch of development goes to all former chief ministers viz. Dr YS Parmar, Thakur Ram Lal, Shanta Kumar, Virbhadra Singh and PK Dhumal.
