Shimla, Nov 3(UNI) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday returned to Bihar for the next election campaign, after spending four days at his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's residence at Charabra in the outskirts of this capital town.
Mr Gandhi who arrived at Shimla on last Saturday left for Delhi, from where he is scheduled to returned
to Bihar for campaigning next round of Assembly election.
Sources in the state security agencies said that Mr Gandhi left Charabra at 0640 hrs by road to Chandigarh. He is likely to join election campaign after boarding a helicopter from Chandigarh.
The Congress leader was undertaking a surprise visit to the newly-constructed bungalow of Priyanka Gandhi at Charabra amid thick deodar and blue pine forests, where he was staying with his friends.
Mr Gandhi's visit to the hilly state seems to be a break amid the tiring campaign in Bihar as he did not indulge in any party activities. Entry was denied to few party leaders, who were tried to meet him, security agencies confirmed.
