HP: Suresh Kashyap new state BJP president

Shimla, Jul 29 (UNI) Lok Sabha MP from Shimla and two time member of the state assembly Mr Suresh Kashyap took over as BJP state president in a simple ceremony in the capital Shimla on Wednesday.
Mr Kashyap joined the BJP's 15th state party chief Deepkamal at the party headquarters at Chakkar in the outskirt of the town in the presence of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and former party state chief Mr Rajiv Bindal.
The oath taking ceremony held at the state government guest house Peterhoff. Among those present were Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Mr Kashyap and Mr Bindal. The party did not invite the party cadre and the media owing to lockdown restrictions due to the COVID pandemic.
