Farm laws in favour of farmers, Congress misleading people: Anurag Thakur

Dharamshala, Oct 11 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Singh Thakur, on Sunday described the new farmers law as a milestone in protecting the interests of the farmers and the Congress Party has taken this law for its personal benefit by misleading the people.
"NDA government is committed for the economic empowerment and equal rights of the oppressed marginalized farmers through the new farmer laws but the opposition parties including the Congress party are trying to mislead farmers by unfairly opposing this farmers law", the Minister said while addressing a press conference here.
"The hardworking farmers of India are the bearers of the prosperity of the country, which the entire nation is proud of. For the first time Modi government is working day and night to empower the farmers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is taking decisive steps to double the income of the farmers, to link agriculture with technology, to get the right price for their crops" Mr Thakur said further.
