Passing of historic bills was done in two-day Assy session: Gangwa

Ambala, Nov 7 (UNI) Haryana Assembly Deputy Speaker Ranbir Singh Gangwa said that the passing of historic bills was done in the two-day assembly session. Changing panchayati raj institutions, giving 50 percent reservation in respect of women and giving eight percent reservation to BC A class, as well as giving employment to 75 percent of Haryana's youth in the industrial sector. The demand for these bills was old, which Chief Minister Manohar Lal has done to fulfill with the cooperation of all.
Gangwa said this while talking to press reporters at the Public Works Rest House, Ambala Cantonment today. On reaching here, people from the Prajapati community and other societies expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister and the Deputy Speaker for giving them a grand integral part and passing these bills.
Gangwa said that the government was committed to work for development of every section of the society. He said that it is thought of the Chief Minister and the BJP government that the state government is working for the qualified person sitting in the last stage to get the benefits of the government schemes. He said that when all sections of the society are uplifted, the country will progress. He said that this was the old demand of the BC A class to get the bill passed. This class is a hand-working class. They are not so strong financially. With the passing of this bill, this class will benefit greatly politically and from the political point of view this class will be strong. He said that there was already a provision of 20 percent reservation for the scheduled castes. He also said that at least one ward in the village panchayats, block committees and district councils will be reserved for them with eight percent reservation for BC A category in Panchayati Raj institutions.
