Chhattisgarh achieves 6th Position in 'Ease of Doing Business' ranking in country

Raipur, Sep 5 (UNI) Chhattisgarh has achieved sixth position in the country in State Business Reform Action Plan -- Ease of doing business annual ranking.
Chhattisgarh achieved this position in ongoing ranking of states in Ease of Doing on Saturday by the Union Ministry of Finance and Commerce and Industry. Despite Corona crisis, Chhattisgarh has managed to retain its position for the year 2018.
This ranking has been released on the basis of implementing the plan of business reforms for further improving the business environment in the country. Andhra Pradesh is on the forefront of this area. The ranking was previously released in 2018. According to the ranking released by the Ministry, Uttar Pradesh has got 2nd position while Telangana stood 3rd, Madhya Pradesh 4th and Jharkhand 5th.
