PM to inaugurate 7 medical colleges in UP on Oct 25

Sidharthnagar, Oct 16 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday said that seven new medical colleges will come up in the state and these colleges will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 25.
Prime Minister will simultaneously inaugurate seven new state autonomous medical colleges from Siddharthnagar, the land of Lord Buddha, the government added.
Giving information about this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said here that the government is committed to provide best health facilities to the people of the state and is therefore setting up a chain of medical colleges across the state.

CM Yogi spoke to the media persons after inspecting the venue and meeting with the officials regarding the inauguration ceremony of the newly-created Madhav Prasad Tripathi State Autonomous Medical in Siddharthnagar.
Chief Minister said that the medical college of Siddharthnagar has been constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, many medical colleges have come up. Basti Medical College was started last year while Bahraich Medical College was started two years ago. Similarly, the medical college in Ayodhya will be operational soon, he added.
Yogi said that two years ago he had announced to set up a medical college in Siddharthnagar district. Now it is ready. Along with this, seven medical colleges of the state have got recognition from the National Medical Council.
The Chief Minister said that through this medical college not only the people of Siddharthnagar but Balrampur, Maharajganj and neighboring friendly nation Nepal would get the best medical facilities.
Talking about PM's proposed visit, Chief Minister said that this land of Buddha is ready for his grand felicitation by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 25.

From here, PM will also inaugurate the medical colleges of Deoria, Etah, Hardoi, Ghazipur, Mirzapur and Pratapgarh, he added.
CM Yogi also said that in the Gorakhpur-Basti division, the only medical college in the name of medical college was BRD Medical College of Gorakhpur. Today AIIMS in Gorakhpur is also ready. In the next one-and-a-half months, it will also be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
