PM to interact with students, parents on exam stress, thanks 'Kashi vasi' for hosting PBD

Varanasi, Jan 22 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced that he will undertake a marathon interactive programme with lakhs of students, their parents and academicians through video conferencing programme on January 29 - next Tuesday.
"I will interact with students and try to speak to them on exam related stress. This stress usually fifures in students' mind during the exam season," Prime Minister said at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention here.
It will be done via NaMo app and across television channels, he told the gathering and said they can also join in.
The programme on January 29 will be hosted from 1100 hours, Prime Minister said.
In his speech, Prime Minister thanked the people of Varanasi 'Kashi vasi', the UP government and the local civil and police administration for successfully hosting the 15th Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas celebrations this year on such a large scale.
"I congratulate the Uttar Pradesh government for successfully organising this event. Hosting the Kumbh Mela is quite a big task in itself. Yet the UP government led by Yogi Adityanath has successfully managed to organise both these events in the best possible way. I congratulate the administration also," he said.
Prime Minister said he was delighted at the positive response the large overseas Indians got on their arrival in the holy city and maintained that he was sure that an overwhelming number of visitors would like to come back to the holy city yet again.
"Generally, these programmes become official programmes....But it goes to the credit of all, the MEA team led by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and the people of Kashi and that this has become a people's programme," he said.
In his inimitable style, Mr Modi also maintained in a lighter sense: "Pasina aap logon ne bahaya....loh mere peeth thap thapa rahe haen (It is you people who worked hard, but people are giving credit to me).
Mr Modi pointed out that besides being Prime Minister, he (Modi) is also the Varanasi representative in Lok Sabha.
Meanwhile, sources said Prime Minister Modi is likely to arrive Varanasi yet again on January 24 or 25 to give 'Report Card' on his performance as a lawmaker from the constituency.
