BJP announces election committee for UP polls

Lucknow, Jan 5 (UNI) Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday announced its 24 member state election committee.
The committee includes state president Swatantra Dev Singh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya, Dr Dinesh Sharma, state general secretary (organisation) Sunil Bansal, assistant general secretary Karmveer Singh, former state president and MP Ramapati Ram Tripathi, national vice-president Baby Rani Maurya, vice-president Rekha Verma and general secretary Arun Singh.
Besides, state cabinet minister Suresh Khanna, Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, state cabinet minister Brijesh Pathak, Union Minister Sanjiv Balyan, national secretary and MP Vinod Sonkar, MP Rajveer Singh, Union Minister SP Singh Baghel, MLA and vice-president Salil Vishnoi and state general and MLC Ashwini Tyagi have also been included in the committee.
