Chandigarh, Oct 15(NNI) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar paid homage to former
President, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on his 89th birth anniversary on Thursday.
He said that Dr. Kalam, known as Missile Man, is an inspiration not only to the youth but also to every citizen. Dr. Kalam played an important role in making India a nuclear power nation, he added. He said that Dr. Kalam was the true son of the soil and his entire life was devoted to the development of the country. Under his leadership, India made significant achievements towards becoming self-reliant in the field of defense research, he added. He said that the contribution of youth towards Nation-building by taking inspiration from Dr. Kalam’s life will be a true tribute to him.
