Bhopal, Sep 21 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Government admitted on Monday in the Assembly that four private medical colleges’ directors and other functionaries were named as accused in a Central Bureau of Investigation charge-sheet – submitted approximately a year earlier in a special court – pertaining to inconsistencies vis-à-vis admissions made through the medium of the Pre-Medical Test 2012.
In a written reply to Mr Pratap Grewal (opposition Congress), Home Minister Narottam Mishra averred, “Complying with a Supreme Court order directive July 9, 2015 – regarding a writ petition – the Professional Examination Board-related cases were handed over to the federal inquiry agency therefore the state’s Special Task Force took no further action in that context. A communication from a CBI office in the state capital unambiguously mentioned that it is probing every PMT-linked irregularity from 2004 to 2013.”
