Jalandhar, Oct 17 (UNI) Fulfilling its commitment to usher new era of infrastructure development
in rural areas across district under smart village campaign phase-II, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu on Saturday kick-started 3201 development projects worth Rs. 149.21 Crore in Jalandhar's 102 villages.
Participating in a video conference held at local district administrative complex to mark the virtual opening ceremony of smart village campaign phase-2 by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu accompanied by MLAs Pargat Singh, Rajinder Beri, Sushil Kumar Rinku, Avtar Singh Junior Bawa Henry, Mayor Jagdish Raj Raja, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori, said these projects would act as catalyst to ensure holistic development of rural areas.
