244 new COVID-19 cases in MP

Bhopal, July 28 (UNI) In an unambiguous indicator towards the fact that the novel coronavirus still constitutes a clear and present danger to the public health sphere, 244 fresh instances of infection were reported on Thursday in Madhya Pradesh and a patient succumbed here thus raising the cumulative toll to 10,752.
A Health Services Directorate bulletin issued tonight said that 7,948 samples were analysed over the past 24 hours during which 293 individuals recuperated thereby lowering the number of active cases to 1,580. The positivity is 3 per cent. Indore district had the dubious distinction of spawning the state’s highest 94 latest sufferers, Bhopal 51, Jabalpur 33, Khargone 11, Sehore 9, Ujjain and Gwalior 7 each, etc.
The infected tally touched 10,49,188 but that figure includes 10,36,856 recoveries.

Congress is not confident enough to announce their party ticket in front of the public, as their candidates are not sure of winning and are insecure. Suresh Kashyap termed the statement of Congress MLA Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu ridiculous in which he said that 40 tickets have been finalized and candidates have been informed over the phone.
