Haryana govt exploring new possibilities in mining sector : Min

Chandigarh, Aug 7 (UNI) Haryana Minister of Mines and Geology Minister Mool Chand Sharma said that along with exploring new possibilities in the mining sector in the state, the existing system is also being streamlined so that more and more revenue can be collected for the government treasury and further public can also easily get construction material at reasonable prices.
The Minister said that neither the mining mafia will be allowed to flourish in the state nor any incidence of illegal mining material being brought from other states will not be tolerated. There will be no restriction or prohibition on the transportation of mining material from any state in a lawful manner, he added.
Mr Sharma stated this while addressing a meeting here on Friday. The Department officers, contractors and leaseholders associated with mining works attended the meeting.
