Ballia, Oct 21 (UNI) A local court here on Wednesday ordered that the main accused in the Ballia firing incident be sent to three-days police remand.
Police had given an application in the court to send the accused to seven-days remand and while hearing the matter, the court ordered that the accused Dhirendra Pratap Singh be sent to police remand between Oct 22-24.
Police had contended that the accused had to be taken on remand for the recovery of the weapon used in the murder and the investigation into the main cause of the crime. Hearing the application of the police, the court sent the accused to three-days remand.
