Prayagraj, Sep 1 (UNI) The Allahabad High Court will hear a case against a Kanpur hospital for not handing over the body of a coronavirus patient to the family when the family could not deposit Rs 14.5 lakhs, on September 2.
District Magistrate of Kanpur has filed a report in the High Court after taking statements of the hospital, relatives of the deceased patient and the City Magistrate. The Court has given the report to Additional Advocate General Manish Goyal and asked him to present the side.
A Bench of Justice Siddharth Verma and Justice Ajit Kumar gave this order on the petition of Kanchan Srivastava.
