Jaipur, Jul 30 (UNI) Rajasthan High Court on Thursday sent notices to six Bahujan Samaj Party MLAs and the Speaker on a petition challenging the merger of these MLAs with the Congress after the Assembly polls in 2019.
The petition was filed by Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Madan Dilawar, questioning the joining of BSP MLAs--Deepchand Kheria, Jogendra Awana, Lakhan Meena, Rajendra Gudha, Sandeep Yadav and Wajib Ali--with the grand-old-party.
After the Assembly results, the six BSP MLAs had asked the Congress party to integrate them in their fold. Their demanded was accepted and Speaker C P Joshi passed an order in this regard.
