Ashu remanded to 5-day ED custody

Chandigarh, August 2 (UNI) A court in Jalandhar, on Friday, remanded former Minister and Congress leader Bharat Bhushan Ashu to 5-day Enforcement Directorate custody.
ED had arrested Ashu late Thursday evening after questioning him about an alleged money laundering case when he was the food and civil supplies minister.
Congress MLA Pargat Singh, meanwhile alleged that ruling Aam Aadmi Party was a B-team of the Bharatiya Janta Party and both were hand-in-glove to harass Congress leaders using law enforcement agencies.
