J&K Special Tribunal grants relief to Ex-Dy CM, stays demolition order till Dec 7

Jammu, Nov 12 (UNI) The former Jammu and Kashmir deputy chief minister Dr Nirmal Singh on Friday got relief from the J&K Special Tribunal as Judicial Member of the J&K Special Tribunal ordered to keep the notice served to him in abeyance issued by JDA for demolition his house at village Ban in Nagrota.
Judicial Member J&K Rajesh Sekri after hearing Senior Advocate R K Gupta assisted by Jugal Kishore Gupta and Rahul Sadotra, who appeared for Mamta Singh, wife of Nirmal Singh, whereas Advocate Muzaffar Ali Shah caveator in-person seeks time to file application and Advocate Adarsh Sharma appearing for the JDA, sought time to produce the record and written submissions to the Tribunal in November 8 notice.
The tribunal however, kept the order in abeyance and parties (JDA) are directed to maintain status-quo on spot till December 7.
