ACB Kashmir files charge sheet against then CMO Budgam, others in embezzlement case

Srinagar, Nov 24 (UNI) Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday produced a charge sheet in the Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption Srinagar against then Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Budgam, and others for conducting alleged embezzlement to state exchequer.
An ACB spokesman said, chargesheet was produced in an Anti Corruption Court Srinagar against Dr Mohammad Abdullah, then CMO Budgam, one deceased official identified as Mohammad Ayoub and another person Shahid Shabir for embezzlement of Rs 17 lakh.
He said, the instant case was registered on the basis of the outcome of verification conducted into the allegations for embezzlement of Rs 17 lakh by CMO Office Budgam during the year 2009-10.
