Srinagar, July 28 (UNI) On the World Nature Conservation Day, Indian Army campaigned for a clean environment with zeal and zest during the ongoing Amarnath Yatra in Kashmir, officials said.
Indian Army has taken up various measures on the day to eliminate non biodegradable waste during Amarnath yatra generated by the pilgrims during their pilgrimage along the shortest Baltal route in Ganderbal district.
Besides, the Army also implemented reuse of rain water, recycling and application of non biodegradable material for daily functioning, Army said.
