NABARD's Rs 609.54 cr loans for HP

Shimla, Sep 29 (UNI) The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has approved 113 projects amounting to Rs.609.54 crores under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF).
A statement issued here on Thursday by NABARD said it would provide concessional loans to state governments for development of basic infrastructure.
A spokesperson said the bank has sanctioned 113 projects including 26 for drinking water supply, 30 for minor irrigation, 40 for rural roads and 4 bridges, and 13 for sewerage projects.
