Modi govt achieved 100 pc electrification in short time: Narendra Thakur

Hamirpur (HP), July 30 (UNI) While speaking at the week long closing function of the Electricity Festival under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav here Saturday, Narendra Thakur, local BJP MLA said the Modi government has achieved the target of 100 per cent electrification in a short time.
Thakur said the country has established many new dimensions in the power sector. He said a lot has changed in the lives of people since independence. In the past, when there was no electricity, many problems had to be faced.
Lamps and lanterns used to handle all the daily chores. But in the present era, all the work is dependent on electricity. If there is no electricity for two minutes, then all the work stops. "At present, we are getting all the daily facilities through electricity only."
