2 day National Conference on Frontiers in Chemical Sciences held in CUHP

Dharamshala, Nov 7 (UNI) A two day National Conference “National Conference on Frontiers in Chemical Sciences (NCFCS-2022)” was successfully conducted by Central University of Himachal Pradesh recently at the Shahpur Campus.
Pooja Awasthi, PRO CUHP told UNI today that this conference was jointly organized by the Central University of Himachal Pradesh and Indian Society of Analytical Scientists Delhi Chapter (ISAS-DH).
The organizing secretary of the conference, Dr. Rajender Kumar said that more than 200 participants were present in the conference. Young researchers in the region were motivated towards the innovative research during various talks and poster sessions and Best Poster Awards were distributed among them. There were 5 technical sessions and 11 invited talks across the country during this national conference. Valedictory function was held on 5th of November, 2022. Vice Chancellor of Central University of Himachal Pradesh emphasized on the need for the interdisciplinary collaborations for advancing the research. He highlighted that the research needs to be integrated with the real life problems. Also, we need to focus on the needs of our society, rather than focusing on the western world.
