HP : 1 dies due to COVID , 916 test +ve in HP- Health dept

Dharamshala, July 27 (UNI) A 65-year-old male person from Chamba district died of Covid 19 Wednesday and at least 916 fresh cases tested positive on Wednesday for the lethal novel Corona in one day, in Himachal Pradesh pushing the Himachal Pradesh state caseload to 296590. The fresh cases included the highest 259 in Kangra district followed by 160 from Shimla and 153 from Mandi district.

Spokesman of the Health Department told UNI that all the 916 fresh cases who have tested positive today have been isolated as per the protocol.

Dehradun, Apr 19 (UNI) Uttarakhand has witnessed an average voter turnout of 24.83 per cent for five Lok Sabha seats till 11am on Friday,
Excluding the Nainital constituency, voting percentages in the other four constituencies have surpassed those of the 2019 elections within the same timeframe, which recorded 23.59 per cent turnout by Friday midday.
